Lacuna Coil’s ‘Swamped’ appears on the gothic music compilation album ‘Bittersweet’ released by Universal Music Germany. Other artists featured on the album include Nightwish, Within Temptation, Apocalyptica, HIM, Lacrimosa, and more. In according to the Tours section on Lacuna Coil’s official site, the band will be appearing at ‘Download Festival’ at Donnington Park in the UK on Sunday the 12th June.Other bands confirmed so far for that day are System of A Down, Slipknot, and Slayer. The official Lacuna Coil website reports today the second recording session for the band’s follow-up to 2002’s ‘Comalies’ album has been completed. The new, as yet untitled album, is expected to be released quarter three 2005.
