General News, In The Media By Jan 12, 2010

Century Media have released the following Press Release today:

As of today (Tuesday January 12th, 2010) LACUNA COIL premier their brand new video-clip for the song ÒI WonÕt Tell YouÓ on their myspace, so make sure to visit their freshly redesigned myspace profile:

Just like the clip for ÒSpellboundÓ the video for ÒI WonÕt Tell YouÓ was directed by the renowned Italian producer Saku.

Andrea Ferro (vocals) on ÒI WonÕt Tell YouÓ:
ÒEnergy is the keyword for our new video-clip for the song “I Won’t Tell You”. Once again we’ve been working with director Saku, who previously worked on “Spellbound” (and won an award for best editing for that one). For the first time we’ve invited our fans to be part of the clip and be the main attraction together with the band. To be gathered and work side by side has been a really valuable and funny experience, the fans were great actors and we will never be able to thank them enough. As I say it’s a really energetic video with some special FX and a great vibe.Ó

Director Saku on ÒI WonÕt Tell YouÓ:
“We had a great time shooting the video. Despite the cold temperature there was a nice and warm human atmosphere between the band, the fans, and my crew. I’m totally satisfied with the images, Cristina and the band look so cool, and I like the way the video mixes performance, fans, and “vampiresque” effects.”

The video-clip will support their upcoming and 1st UK and European headlining ÒShallow LifeÓ tour that will kick off in Ireland on January 29th. LACUNA COIL will be supported by Dirty Little Rabbits (featuring Shawn ÒClownÓ Crahan from the multi-platinum selling band Slipknot) and the gothic rock act Dommin. Dirty Little Rabbits will be direct support to Lacuna Coil on 7 shows, while Dommin will perform at all shows on the tour (except Dublin).

Right on the dawn of the tour the album will be released as a special ÒShallow Life (Deluxe Edition)Ó double disc for the price of a single standard CD featuring alternative artwork, a disc full of rare and previously unreleased material (studio, acoustic and live tracks) and an extended booklet that is giving you lots of eye candy. The bonus-CD will be packed with 45min of rare and unreleased material (3 studio and acoustic tracks each, 6 live-songs) and it will be out on the following dates:

GERMANY / AUSTRIA / SWITZERLAND / ITALY: Friday, January 22, 2010
SPAIN: Tuesday, January 26, 2010
FINLAND / SWEDEN / HUNGARY: Wednesday, January 27, 2010
