Lacuna Coil’s latest album ‘Shallow Life’ has entered the Billboard album charts at number 16, selling 21,000 copies in it’s first week of release.
This is the highest position for a Lacuna Coil album; the bands last album ‘Karmacode’ entered at number 28 back in 2006.
Century Media have announced: ItalyÕs greatest musical export, LACUNA COIL, have returned with the massively anticipated, new full-length release, Shallow Life, and have undoubtedly proven that they are one of hard rockÕs most revered artists as the album debuted at #16 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. This impressive position marks the bandÕs highest Billboard chart entry, as well as the highest Billboard debut in the history of Century Media Records. The disc also scored impressive chart entries across the world, most notably at #2 on the UK rock charts. The new effort was recorded with acclaimed producer Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Pearl Jam) at the famed NRG Studios in Los Angeles.
