Lacuna Coil’s 2002 album ‘Comalies’ is one of four ‘essential female-fronted metal albums’ included in Kerrang! Magazine’s ‘Devil Women’ feature alongside their review of Tristania’s album ‘Ashes’ in the January 22nd issue.
The magazine has this to say:
“A stint on Ozzfest last summer helped Lacuna Coil – fronted by the male/female duo of Andrea Ferro and Cristina Scabbia – follow Evanescence into mainstream success. ‘Comalies’ has now sold 150,000 copies in the US”
The other albums in the feature are ‘Anthems of Rebellion’ (Arch Enemy), ‘Once’ (Nightwish), and ‘Mother Earth’ (Within Temptation).
